The essay you refer to by Daniel Johnson, MD is dated 1999 and he has since been involved with an effort to get VistA into use with the Mayo Clinic. Your information is out of date at best. What real information do you have about VistA? I suggest that you search this website under the VistA category for more information or try it yourself with the VA CPRS demo http://www1.va.gov/CPRSdemo/
