Re: Announcing PatientOS
by Greg Caulton on Monday July 30, @10:10PM
PatientOS architecture is a Java Swing client using RMI to connect to a JBoss EJB application server. The data access layer is Hibernate and a database, I released with PostgreSQL and will add Oracle soon. Additional databases could be added if DBAs can help support them.

On sourceforge you can download the full system. The Windows installer reflects the reality that most clinicians work on Windows and like to have an application installed in a familiar way with a few clicks.

Feel free to chat on the forums http://www.patientos.org/phpBB3 thanks Greg
