Here is a description of the case study to be presented at the Enterprise LAMP Summit by Stuart T. Weinberg, MD, FAACP, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University and leader of the Outpatient Whiteboard project:

The electronic Outpatient Whiteboard (OPWB) is a Vanderbilt enterprise-wide application used as a clinic workflow tool for communication, patient tracking, process management, and clinical decision support. Developed in a Sun-Apache-MySQL-PHP environment, the OPWB is used by more than 1,000 individuals per day across 55+ clinics in three counties.
