Chief Technology Officer
The CTO will drive the company’s technology vision, strategy and execution for all product lines. This encompasses setting strategic direction, vision, standards and product architecture; identification of new technology solutions and partnerships, including strategy for Open Source in Healthcare.
The CTO will work closely with the leaders of the R&D teams to establish technology vision, strategy and execution capability. This individual is an advisor to entire executive staff regarding technology direction and solutions
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Evolving and delivering the company’s technology and architectural vision to drive revenue growth, productivity and market dominance.
• Creating and nurturing technology plans, and driving innovation across product lines
• Partnering with the Product Management and R&D organizations to create and deliver new world-class products and services; translating market trends and requirements into technical innovations.
• Identifying and optimizing new technological partnerships that create new capabilities, delivery efficiencies and revenue streams; identifying key vendors who add value to the company’s technology portfolio
• Influencing the strategic direction of the Company by participating on the management team and key governance bodies as appropriate.
• Responsible for continual re-evaluation of the technical direction of the company to ensure it meets current requirements
• Collaborate with and guides VPs and Directors in Product Development in developing product architecture and software applications
• Driving development and delivery of products and components under his/her responsibility
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• Over 10 years’ software engineering and senior level management experience in business and technical strategic planning and execution
• Setting and achieving company strategy in areas of new technology and development
• Identifying new technology requirements and planning for their implementation
• Management of outsourcing activities
• Able to provide vision and direction to a technology group that will utilize, Mumps, GT.K and related web technologies for new product development, as well as strategic direction for migration of client/server applications
OTHER:
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, ISO
• Strong project management skills
• Strong sense of accountability and urgency in meeting task deadlines, and ability to work well under pressure
• Able to work independently, as well as within a cross-functional team environment
Compensation:
