Medical Open Source Development Posted by I. Valdes on Thursday January 01, 2004 @ 06:06 AM
from the AMIA OSWG dept.
It looks like it is going to be a Happy New Year! The American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) announced today in its Newsbytes newsletter that it has approved an Open Source Working Group! This is a huge step forward for legitimizing FOSS in medicine. Congratulations to everyone who pushed for this, especially Tim Cook and Nikki Shaw. Digg this article
