A group of doctors led by David Chan in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada are readying the first public release of OSCAR a practice management, electronic health record, and health resource management system based on Java and requiring RedHat Linux, Tomcat and MySQL. Release date is Nov 17, but a lot of stuff is beginning to appear on their website.
