This series brings a lot of exciting features, both from the technical and functional point of views.
On the technical side, the most important one is the compatibility with Tryton 2.4, and the demo database, so you can test it with data.
MediGrail is developing a patient controlled health record system (PCHR). We are building the conduit technologies to provide access from existing, open source Electronic Medical record (EMR) applications such as OpenEMR to mobile telephone platforms. With this technology, the patient gets timely lab results, can email their physicians and have access to their medical history at their fingertips as and when they need it.
An announcement was made on May 16th, 2012, regarding an agreement between the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs and 3M to create a public use version of the HDD, called HDD Access, which will be available for download from the HDD Access website later this year.
The FreeMedForms project is a free and open source medical project that includes an EMR, a prescribing assistant, an ICD10 coding assistant and an accountancy assistant. The FreeMedForms team is proud to announce the release of the new version 0.7.3 of the project. This release is mainly a debug release of the 0.7x series.

The 2012 Libre Software Meeting will be in Geneva, Switzerland July 7 through July 12 of 2012. Dr. Bowen, the executive director of OEMR, will be speaking about using OpenEMR to improve accessibility to health care worldwide. The presentation will be at 10:40 AM on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012. This will be a 20 minute presentation on the internationalization of OpenEMR and how it has been put to use by International Planned Parenthood Federation in a growing number of countries.
GNUmed conference took place in Leipzig Germany today. We started roughly 9:30 am and pretty much continued until 3:30pm with few short breaks.
The group consisted of 10 people. Apart from a representative of a local software support company and an network specialist there was one Debian packager, two physiotherapists and 5 physicians.
